Liverpool Introduces New Jerseys After Switching to adidas

  • Liverpool has introduced new adidas jerseys following their switch from Nike.
  • The new contract is worth £60 million per year.
  • The jerseys will first be worn in September during friendly matches.

Liverpool has officially unveiled its first jerseys adidas as part of a new contract with the German sportswear manufacturer. This came after their switch from Nike, which was announced in early 2025.

The team had previously collaborated with adidas from 1985 to 1996 and from 2006 to 2012, winning three league titles and three FA Cups during that time. The new contract is likely set for five years and is worth over £60 million per year.

The first home jersey is designed in a classic plain red color. A notable detail is the finish, which recalls previous models, but without geometric patterns and yellow accents from the last season. It is noted that the new jerseys will first be showcased in September during friendly matches, including a game against Athletic Club and Crystal Palace.

The new collection features an emblem in memory of the tragedy at Hillsborough and a small detail in honor of the late player Diogo Jota, where all proceeds from the sale of jerseys with his number will be donated to charity.
