Fernando Alonso misses first practice due to back injury

Fernando Alonso will not participate in the first session of free practice at the Hungarian Grand Prix, scheduled for August 1, 2025. The reason for this is a back injury that he sustained after the Belgian Grand Prix. The Aston Martin team confirmed that Alonso is undergoing a recovery process, so he will not be able to participate in FP1.
In his place during the first session will be Brazilian Felipe Drugovich, who is the third driver of the team. Aston Martin also stated that a decision regarding Alonso's participation in the second session of free practice will be made later, depending on his condition after recovery.
To participate in the race, the driver must take part in the qualification, which will take place on August 2 at 16:00.
