Ukrainian intelligence has revealed a Russian commander coordinating drone attacks

• The Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine has identified a Russian lieutenant colonel, Ruslan Negrub.
• The GRU brigade "Kaskad" is carrying out Shahed drone attacks on Ukraine.

The Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine has published detailed information about the Russian commander, who is responsible for coordinating Shahed drone attacks on Ukrainian territory.

The attacks are carried out by a specialized brigade of unmanned aerial vehicles, known as GRU "Kaskad" (military unit 35666-B), which is based in Korenovsk, Krasnodar Krai.

The brigade is commanded by lieutenant colonel Ruslan Negrub, born on January 4, 1983. He has a passport (series 9002 № 447425), issued on April 17, 2003, by the Internal Affairs Department of the Mozdok District in North Ossetia-Alania.

Negrub graduated from the Stavropol Higher Military Aviation Engineering School and resides in Budyonovsk, Stavropol Krai, together with his wife Nadiya Negrub (born March 8, 1981) and their 20-year-old son.

They are registered at the following address: microdistrict Severny, building 1, apartment 76, Budyonovsk, Stavropol Krai.

According to information provided by Ukrinform, Russian troops have launched nearly 4000 Shahed drones and other aerial attacks against Ukraine in the past month.
