Germany has started humanitarian air deliveries to Gaza

• German troops have begun the deployment of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
• Johann Wadephul is conducting negotiations with Mahmoud Abbas.
• Germany has allocated 5 million euros to support humanitarian programs.

German armed forces, including aviation, have started sending humanitarian supplies to Gaza. The first two Luftwaffe flights delivered nearly 14 tons of supplies. Defense Minister Boris Pistorius noted that these flights may only partially satisfy the needs of the local population, and expressed hope that Israel would ensure comprehensive humanitarian supplies for the local population.

At the same time, the Minister of State for Germany, Johann Wadephul, is conducting negotiations with the President of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, on the western border. Wadephul emphasized the importance of supporting peace in the region.

In addition, Germany plans to provide an additional 5 million euros (5.70 million US dollars) to support the World Food Program in Gaza. The special envoy of the USA, Steve Vitkoff, is also visiting Gaza, which indicates increased international activity in addressing humanitarian issues in the region.
