The police arrested ten individuals in Bradford as part of an investigation into child grooming cases that occurred in the 1990s.

According to the police report from West Yorkshire, the arrested individuals range in age from 49 to 71 years old. They have been charged with grooming offenses related to six victims, who at the time of the offenses were between 13 and 15 years old. The incidents date back to the period from 1994 to 1997.

All those arrested have been questioned and released under investigation pending further inquiries, a police representative stated. Detective Inspector Vicki Grimbank noted that safeguarding children remains a top priority for West Yorkshire Police.

She emphasized the importance of joint work with partners and charitable organizations to support victims and prosecute offenders.
