Kamala Harris explained why she will not run for governor
- Harris considers the political system "broken" and does not plan to run
- She urged people not to lose hope for improvement
- In the fall, she plans to release her book about the presidential campaign
Kamala Harris, former Vice President of the United States, explained in her interview on Stephen Colbert's show why she does not plan to run for the position of Governor of California. She stated that she considers the political system "broken" and does not want to return to it at this moment.
Harris, who was previously a favorite in the list of candidates for that position, revealed that many believed in the potential launch of the campaign, but ultimately decided that she wants to hear more voices from people in the country, rather than asking them to vote for her. She emphasized that at this moment she does not want to engage in political activity.
Harris also commented on the political situation in the U.S. during Donald Trump's second term, noting that many Democratic defenders "are getting tired" and do not want to defend his actions. She urged people not to lose hope and believe in their strength.
In the fall, Harris plans to publish a book about her presidential campaign in 2024, titled "107 Days." She emphasized that it is important for everyone who wants change to act differently.
