Figma Presented Its IPO on NYSE and Increased Its Price

  • Figma's price increased by 250% during its debut on the NYSE.
  • The company has over 13 million users, most of whom are not designers.
  • Figma's revenue grew by 46% for the year, with a net profit of $44.9 million.

The company Figma, which specializes in software for design, successfully conducted its initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange on July 30, 2025. The company's shares surged more than three times from the initial price of $33 to close at $115.50 per share, which secured a market capitalization of over $68 billion.

Figma, which promotes a browser-based platform for design, showed significant growth: in the first quarter of 2025, it generated revenues of $228.2 million, which is 46% more compared to the same period last year. The net profit for that same period amounted to $44.9 million, while the annual revenue growth rate reached nearly 40%.

In the company, it is noted that the average retention rate among existing clients is 132%, which indicates their strong interest in Figma's products. More than 13 million users are currently utilizing the platform, of which two-thirds are not designers.

In 2022, the company had a deal with Adobe for $20 billion, but it was terminated in 2023 due to increasing competition. Figma aims to expand its application in companies by introducing new features for collaborative work and no-code web product development.

Competition in the market is intensifying as Microsoft integrates design tools into its Office 365 products, while new companies are bringing innovations in the design sphere. Figma's success will depend on its ability to maintain a leading position in the market.
