Zelensky Discusses Drone Production with Starmer

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held talks with Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Keir Starmer, during which they discussed increasing drone production, including drone interceptors.
Zelensky announced this in a post on Telegram. He noted that Starmer expressed condolences regarding the deaths of people as a result of the Russian strike on Kyiv, in which 31 people were killed, including 5 children. During the conversation, they discussed measures to stop the killings, ensure greater security for the population, and how to prompt Russia to end the war.
One of the main topics was the urgent need to increase drone production, especially interceptors. According to Zelensky, there is a specific financial need, and the partners are looking for solutions.
Also on the agenda were sanctions against Russia. Zelensky emphasized that Russia is indeed feeling the impact of the sanctions, regardless of the fact that they are trying to bypass them. He noted that the sanctions are working, and they will be increased, and there is also work on coordinating restrictive measures.
In addition, they discussed cooperation with American partners, including coordination of actions with President Donald Trump and possible formats for peace talks at the level of leaders. Zelensky also emphasized the importance of active diplomatic engagement with partners in Europe and the USA.
