Kolos and Kryvbas Started a New Season of UPL

Today, August 1, the first match of the new season of the Ukrainian Premier League 2025/26 took place, in which Kolos faced Kryvbas. This match became the official start of the championship.

The match ended with a score of 2:1 in favor of Kolos. Goals were scored by Mykyta Burda in the 14th minute and Elias in the 71st minute, while Oleksandr Kamenskyi scored in the 90th minute for Kryvbas.

The victory allowed Kolos to take the leading position in the tournament table, earning three points. Kryvbas, in turn, under the guidance of the new coach Patrick van Leven, continues to adapt to the new season.

This match also marked the debut for many new footballers, including 17-year-old Oleksandr Kamenskyi, who scored the first goal in the new season.
