- The team is evaluating the return of La'el Collins, but for now, the focus is on Thomas.
In Oxnard, California, the new left tackle for the Dallas Cowboys, Nate Thomas, has been given the chance to prove his worth on the field. After the injuries of key players, such as Tyler Biadasz, who suffered a knee injury and is currently sidelined, Thomas has stepped up as the starting player. His career received a new impetus following his impressive performance during training camp, where he emphasized the importance of being ready to play.
Prescott, who also returned after his injury, highlighted that Thomas possesses the necessary skills and versatility that are essential for a successful game. And while Thomas may not have significant experience in the NFL, his training and preparation have captured the attention of the coaching staff.
Thomas, who played for two years at Louisiana State University, was selected by the Cowboys in the seventh round of the draft. Despite the fact that the team initially planned to utilize him as a backup guard, new head coach Brian Schottenheimer decided to move him to the left tackle position, where he has shown impressive results during training.
Regardless of the Cowboys also considering the possibility of bringing back experienced lineman La'el Collins, Thomas currently has all chances to secure a new position. All eyes are now on him, especially since he is gearing up for important games, including the match against the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl, scheduled for April 4.
