Tennis player Novak Djokovic has become a partner of the French football club Le Mans, which competes in League 2. This club will be announced on September 1, 2025.

The investment group, which also includes former Formula 1 drivers Felipe Massa and Kevin Magnussen, has attracted other financial investors to the club, including the Brazilian consortium OutField and Georgios Frangulis, founder of the healthy food brand OakBerry.

The club emphasized that Djokovic, being the most famous tennis player in history, could bring significant benefits due to his mental strength and unique approach. The club president Thierry Gomez noted that participation in high-class sports is a unique feature of this fund.

Le Mans will start its season in League 2 on September 9 with a match against Guingamp.
