Charlie Woods did not qualify for the Junior Ryder Cup after he shot three over par in the final round of the Junior PGA Championships in Indiana.

Tiger Woods' son finished in second place, knowing that only the top two players earn spots on the U.S. team for the Ryder Cup, which will take place from September 23 to 25 at Nassau Country Club and Bethpage Black in New York.

The 16-year-old golfer was even par through the 13th hole, but after a bogey on the 14th hole and a double bogey on the 15th, he fell behind on the leaderboard. His disappointment intensified when his putt on the last hole barely missed, and then he missed the next one.

The tournament was won by Lunden Esterline, who finished with a score of 19 strokes under par, finishing ahead of other players by six strokes.

Charlie still has the chance to be selected as a captain's pick for the team, but that is unlikely, especially since other higher-ranked players are likely to get the advantage in the selection process.
