This is reported by Ukrayinska Pravda, RBC Ukraine.
The self-proclaimed president of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, once again called for the European Union to withdraw from negotiations and collaborate with Russia. He expressed this thought during a meeting with Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin on the island of Valam.
Lukashenko noted that "the EU and Russia, which are united, will become an unstoppable force." He emphasized that EU politicians do not realize this potential, while Americans do not allow such a union, as it is larger than China.
Moreover, Lukashenko criticized EU leaders, calling them "weaklings," and expressed the opinion that European citizens are not satisfied with their politics.
Using Migrants as a Tool for Pressure
Currently, Lukashenko is trying to pressure the EU with the help of illegal migrants from Africa, the Middle East, and Afghanistan. According to Ukrainian intelligence, he is using Belarusian territory to transit migrants to Poland, continuing a strategy that was already employed during crisis situations in 2021.
