Report on Combat Engagements at the Front on September 1 with a Focus on Pokrovsk

As of 22:00 on September 1, according to the data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 130 combat engagements were recorded between Ukrainian defenders and Russian troops throughout the day. The majority of these engagements, specifically 48, occurred in the Pokrovsk sector.
The enemy continued to carry out 49 airstrikes during the day, utilizing 82 guided bombs, as well as 1394 drone strikes. In total, there were nearly 4000 shelling operations targeting the positions of Ukrainian forces and populated areas.
In the Pokrovsk sector, intense activity of Russian troops was observed near populated areas such as Popiv Yar, Maiak, Razin, Novoekonichne, Zatyshok, Lysivka, Promin, Zvirive, Udachne, Dachne, and Zeleny Kut. Fighting continues in these locations.
According to preliminary assessments, on this day, Ukrainian forces destroyed 112 and incapacitated 49 enemy servicemen. Additionally, 3 vehicles, 3 motorcycles, 22 drones, and equipment for personnel were also destroyed. Moreover, our forces managed to capture one vehicle, a command post for drones, and artillery systems from the enemy.
In the Novopavlivsk sector, the enemy conducted 11 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian forces, attempting to advance in the areas of Oleksandro-Hrad, Piddubne, Tovstohir, Malivka, Voskresenske, and Novopoli. One engagement is still ongoing.
In the Orykhivsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled an attack by the enemy near Kostiantynivka.
Among other directions, in the Southern Slobozhanshchyna and Kupyansk sectors, several combat engagements were also recorded.
In the Khuliapolivsk sector, no combat engagements took place.
