Hamilton County Agreement Signed Between Bengals and Hamilton County
- The Cincinnati Bengals will remain at Paycor Stadium until 2036.
- The agreement secures $470 million for the stadium renovation.
- Hamilton County is investing $350 million in improvements.
The Cincinnati Bengals and Hamilton County have signed a new 11-year agreement that includes $470 million for the renovation of Paycor Stadium. The agreement was approved by the county commission on September 1, 2025, after lengthy negotiations between the parties.
The agreement guarantees that the team will stay at its home stadium until 2036, with the possibility of extending for another 10 years, until June 2046. Hamilton County is investing $350 million in the renovation, while the Bengals will contribute $120 million.
The renovation includes upgraded club lounges, luxury suites, concession areas, and tables. Plans also include the creation of a permanent enclosed training facility, as Cincinnati remains the only NFL team in the north without such a facility until 2022.
Team owner Mike Brown noted that the upgrades aim to improve existing conditions without excessive spending on new elements. "We are not looking for extravagant new things; we are trying to improve the existing areas," said Brown.
The agreement concludes a lengthy negotiation process between the Bengals and Hamilton County, which was often strained. Commissioner Steven Sameroff expressed satisfaction with the agreement, calling it beneficial for the community.
