The Lions Aim to Conclude the Tour in Australia with a Historic Achievement
- The Lions aim to finish the tour with a resounding 3-0 victory
- Australia is looking to salvage some pride after two defeats
- The match will take place on September 2 in Sydney
The British and Irish Lions are looking to conclude their tour in Australia with a historic resounding victory in the third test match, which will take place on September 2 in Sydney. After two defeats in the previous matches, the Lions are aiming to secure a clean sweep of 3-0, which would be the first occurrence since 1927 when a team won all matches on Australian soil.
In the match, the Lions will take the field without significant changes to the lineup, relying on the majority of players who secured victory in Melbourne. The exceptions include new players on the flank and in the lineout, as well as a return to the bench of veteran Ben Earl.
On the other side, the Australian team, which is coached by Dave Rennie, has suffered a few losses due to injuries. Missing are Rob Valetini, Harry Potter, and David Porecki. For this reason, Rennie decided to include experienced Nic White in the starting lineup.
The match will take place at the Accor Stadium in Sydney, starting at 11:00 AM British time. Viewers in Great Britain will be able to watch the game live on Sky Sports.
