Ademola Lookman is losing patience over the stalled negotiations
- Lookman has remained at Atalanta due to the refusal of the club to accept the proposal from Inter.
- The forward is losing patience and is posting hints about the club on social media.
- Inter is considering alternatives in the form of Nkunku, should negotiations with Lookman not proceed.
This is reported by L'Équipe, La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Ademola Lookman, a 27-year-old forward, remains a player for Atalanta while negotiations with Inter for a transfer to Milan this summer are ongoing. As of September 2, 2025, Atalanta turned down the offer from Inter of 45 million euros, including bonuses.
Lookman, who has showcased his talent in Italy (52 goals and 25 assists in 118 matches), is dissatisfied with the situation. Recently, he posted on Instagram from Atalanta and deleted all photos in the club's uniform.
Negotiations continue
The president of Inter, Beppe Marotta, has given Atalanta an ultimatum within two to three days to finalize the negotiations. If the situation does not change, Inter may revert to the alternative option – Chelsea's Christopher Nkunku.
Atalanta demands 50 million euros for Lookman. The club's general director, Luca Percassi, stated that the decision regarding the player's departure and the price of the player applies only to Atalanta.
