Russian attacks cause damage in Donetsk region

On August 2, Russian troops carried out shelling in the city of Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region, resulting in one person being killed. According to information from Serhiy Horbunov, head of the Kostiantynivka city military administration, the person sustained fatal injuries while trying to escape during the attack.

This shelling also damaged the facades of residential buildings and a car.

That same day, in Druzhkivka, located in the Donetsk region, Russian forces launched a drone strike, resulting in five people being injured. The head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Vadym Filashkin, reported that the attack damaged residential buildings, a market, shops, and an administrative building.

On August 1, Russian troops killed two residents of the Donetsk region and injured ten others. Filashkin noted that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russian forces have killed 3,386 civilians and injured at least 7,735 people in the Donetsk region, not counting the victims from Mariupol and Volnovakha.

Local authorities and all responsible services are currently working at the sites of the incidents, trying to eliminate the consequences of the attack.
