Russian Drones Inflict Strikes on Civilians in Sumy and Kharkiv Regions

Russian troops continue to inflict strikes on civilian objects in Ukraine. On August 2, in the Sumy region, as a result of a drone strike, one child was killed, and another child received serious injuries. This was reported by the head of the Sumy regional military administration, Oleg Hryhoriv.

On the same day, in the Kharkiv region, a drone attacked a civilian vehicle, resulting in injuries to a six-year-old girl. At the moment of the attack, the vehicle contained the girl’s parents and two children. The girl was hospitalized, but her condition is stable.

The incidents in the Sumy region indicate a constant threat to the civilian population, especially for children. Hryhoriv urged residents of the bordering territories not to ignore repeated alarms. In the Kharkiv region, another incident was recorded when children were injured during an attack.
