The Minister of Finance's Actions in the Matter of Automotive Financing Have Drawn Criticism

  • The Minister of Finance, Rachel Rivz, has faced criticism for her actions in the matter of automotive financing.
  • The Supreme Court supported the financing company, which reduced the risk of large compensations.
  • Experts believe that drivers may receive compensation through an automated scheme.

Rachel Rivz, the Minister of Finance, faced criticism regarding her actions in the matter of automotive financing. Committee member Karbnytsia, Bobbi Dean, referred to these actions as "unprecedented and harmful." He emphasized that such steps could send consumers a negative message about supporting unlawful actions from banks.

The recent decision of the Supreme Court predominantly supported the financing company, which allowed it to avoid paying 44 billion funds in compensations. Dean noted that the minister actively demonstrates support for business, disregarding the interests of consumers.

Rivz also discussed the possibility of legislative initiatives that could be used to justify the court's decision to help creditors to secure funds. These actions have drawn condemnation, as the government is trying to protect business interests at the expense of consumers.

The lobbying group "Financial and Lending Association" expressed satisfaction with the court's decision, believing that their interests were considered. At the same time, the financial regulator must announce a possible compensation scheme that could apply to drivers who suffered from non-transparent commission payments.

Expert from individual finance, Martin Lyuis, noted that millions of drivers could receive compensation, but it is worth considering the automated scheme of returning funds, which could be introduced by the end of the year. He urged people to be patient and avoid turning to legal forms, as this could lead to additional expenses.
