Marvel has presented the first official look at Tom Holland's new costume for the film Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which will be released in theaters on July 31, 2026. In a short teaser, published on August 2, 2025, Holland showcased the updated costume with bright red and blue colors and a larger spider symbol on the chest.
This release comes after Holland posted on his Instagram story a sneak peek related to National Spider-Man Day, writing: "Something new is coming...". On the eve of the upcoming day, a full look at the costume was revealed with the message: "Are you ready? – 31.07.2026".
Mark Ruffalo will also return in the role of Bruce Banner, famously known as Hulk, in the film. This will be Ruffalo's first significant appearance in a Spider-Man film after 14 years in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Holland's costume incorporates elements that remind of the costumes worn by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield during their respective roles as Spider-Man. Fans have expressed positive feedback about the new design, highlighting its connection to previous versions of the costume.
It is known that the film will also feature characters such as Scorpion, portrayed by Michael Mando, who has already appeared in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
