Successful Strikes on Russian Targets in Ukraine

On August 2, Ukrainian armed forces carried out successful strikes on Russian targets that support the aggression against Ukraine. According to information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, these strikes were a response to recent attacks by Russia in Ukrainian cities.

In particular, attacks on oil refinery facilities in Russia were confirmed, including at oil refineries in Ryazan and Novokuybyshevsk, as well as at the base of combustible-mass materials "Anna" in Voronezh region. These strikes inflicted damage on facilities that support military operations in Russia.

Additionally, during the night operation of the drones of the Security Service of Ukraine, a military airfield was identified in Primorsko-Akhtarsk, where launches of drones "Shahed" that attack Ukraine were located. At these facilities, significant explosions and fires were recorded.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that special operations on the territory of Russia will continue. He noted that all law enforcement agencies must ensure results for the defense of Ukraine and its people.
