Report on the fighting in Ukraine on September 2: intense clashes near Pokrovsk

• On the front, 104 battles have been recorded, 28 of them near Pokrovsk.

Since the beginning of the day on September 2, 104 combat engagements have occurred between the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Russian occupiers, of which 28 took place in the Pokrovsk sector. According to the information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of 22:00 on September 2, Russian troops have conducted one missile strike and 46 airstrikes, utilizing one missile and launching 79 guided aerial munitions.

Additionally, 1,374 kamikaze drones and 3,865 shellings of Ukrainian military and civilian positions were recorded. In the southern direction (Sumy region), Ukrainian defenders repelled 18 attacks from the enemy.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Russian troops carried out 28 attacks on Ukrainian positions. According to the data from the General Staff, Ukrainian forces have destroyed or incapacitated 111 Russian soldiers, including 75 irretrievable losses.

In the Kharkiv region, defenders inflicted damage on a command point of the Russian drones, destroying several launch sites for their operations. These actions occurred during 172 combat engagements, which had been recorded since the previous day.

According to the General Staff data, from September 1 to 2, Russia lost 1,010 military personnel and 170 units of equipment. Overall, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost over one million soldiers.
