The Situation in Gaza Requires Urgent International Attention

During the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, which has lasted for more than two years, the situation has become critical. On September 1, 2025, the Organization of the United Nations reported that despite the ongoing discussions about military pauses to improve humanitarian responses, Israeli forces continue to attack along supply routes for provisions.

According to the OCHA, from July 30 to 31, as a result of the attack, 105 Palestinians were killed, and 680 received injuries. Since the beginning of the conflict on May 27, at least 1373 Palestinians have died, with the majority seeking to receive aid, of which 859 were in close proximity to humanitarian centers.

Additionally, on September 2, 2025, a seven-year-old Israeli guarantor, Eviatar David, accused Hamas of deliberately starving his son, which has become part of their propaganda campaign. Video, published by Hamas, shows the emotional David, who claims that he has not seen his son in several days.

According to the Ministry of Health of Gaza, since the beginning of the war, at least 169 people have died, including 93 children. At the same time, Israeli forces are reporting on the continuation of humanitarian operations, including the provision of food packages for the population.

However, according to experts, the situation in Gaza is approaching famine. According to integrated classifications of food security, two out of three critical hunger thresholds have already been reached. It is noted that one in three people in Gaza has remained without food for several days.

International organizations warn that if urgent measures are not taken, the consequences could be catastrophic, as 90% of the population of Gaza has already been displaced, and the infrastructure is severely damaged.
