Russians struck Zaporizhzhia: 2 dead, 12 injured
- Two people were killed, 12 sustained injuries as a result of the strike.
- Among the injured were four children, one of whom is in critical condition.
- Rescue services are working at the scene of the incident.

On August 6, 2025, Russian forces carried out airstrikes in the Zaporizhzhia region. As a result of the attack, two people were killed, and another 12, including four children, sustained injuries.
The head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov, reported that Russian forces used high-altitude bombers for the strike on the resort facility. During the shelling, nine buildings were damaged.
According to the information, two of the injured children are in critical condition. All nine people were hospitalized. Rescue services are working at the scene of the incident, evacuating the victims and extinguishing fires that broke out as a result of the explosions.
This is not the first incident of shelling in the Zaporizhzhia region since the full-scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine. Since the beginning of the war, the region has been subjected to regular attacks from various types of artillery.
Earlier, on July 20, Russian forces also attacked the region, which led to the destruction of private buildings and injuries among the civilian population.
