Critical Problems in Gaza Require Urgent Solutions

After more than 22 months of war in Gaza, the situation continues to deteriorate due to constant military actions and a humanitarian crisis. According to the Gaza Health Ministry, the number of deaths among Palestinians has exceeded 61,000, and new victims are reported daily. In recent days, Israeli forces killed at least 45 people who were trying to receive humanitarian aid.

At the same time, the World Health Organization (WHO) calls for urgent international assistance, as the medical system in Gaza is facing catastrophic consequences. Only 18 out of 36 hospitals are operating partially, and they critically lack essential medicines and supplies. Many patients, including children and pregnant women, are suffering from severe neglect, and without humanitarian aid, their lives are at risk.

In addition, the water crisis in Gaza is also a serious problem. Most water supply systems have been destroyed, and access to clean water is limited. According to Oxfam, the average amount of water consumed in Gaza is only 3-5 liters per person, which is significantly lower than the necessary minimum.

In response to this crisis, the Israeli government has announced a plan for gradual resumption of supplies through the private sector, but many residents of Gaza remain in dire situations due to lack of assistance. International organizations are calling for immediate action to ensure uninterrupted access to humanitarian organizations to address these challenges.
