Signing a deal: Sesko is joining Manchester United

  • Sesko is likely to join Manchester United after their proposal.
  • Newcastle is also interested in Sesko, but their proposal was rejected.
  • Arsenal is trying to sign Eze, but time is running out.

In the last days of the transfer window, it became known that Benjamin Sesko may soon join Manchester United. The club made an official proposal that could reach 85 million euros (73.8 million pounds). This proposal includes a guaranteed payment of 75 million euros (65.2 million pounds).

Newcastle United also shows interest in Sesko, but their initial proposal of 65 million pounds plus 4.3 million pounds in bonuses was rejected. The club has already submitted an improved proposal for an amount close to 78 million pounds, including bonuses.

The management of Manchester United hopes that the 22-year-old forward will choose their club, despite his absence from participation in the Champions League. His appeal is increasing after it was announced that Sesko prioritizes the project of Ruben Amorim.

In addition, Newcastle is also trying to sign Oleksandr Isak, who plans to leave the club, but the new interest from Liverpool in the transfer was rejected. Manager Eddie Howe admitted that the situation "is far from ideal."

It is also reported that Arsenal is trying to sign Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace, but the clubs are discussing his release clause, which exceeds 60 million pounds.
