Russian military casualties in Ukraine are increasing during the war

As of September 6, 2025, total combat losses of Russian forces since February 24, 2022, are estimated at approximately 1,059,270 personnel, of which 1,010 were killed or wounded in recent days. This information was provided by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
During the last day, Russian forces also lost 52 artillery systems and 138 units of equipment. The report indicates that the situation at the front remains complex, especially in the Zaporizhia direction, where the enemy continues to launch attacks and conduct a small number of offensive operations.
Russian troops are concentrating forces and equipment near the village of Kamianske, aiming to strengthen their position. Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces continue to resist attacks and maintain control over the territory.
In the past few days, 143 combat clashes have been recorded at the front. The most intense battles are taking place in the directions of Pokrovsk, Lyman, and Novopavlivka, where Russian troops have again intensified their attacks.
