Rangers secured a convincing victory of 3-0 over Viktoria Plze
in the first match of the third qualifying round of the Champions League, which took place on September 5, 2025, at Ibrox Stadium. Coach Russell Martin made significant changes to the squad, which brought a positive result.

Jedi Gassama, a new member of the team, opened the scoring in the 15th minute, and Kireil Dessers converted a penalty in the first half. Gassama scored another goal in the 51st minute, solidifying the victory.
