President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with the head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) Vasyl Maliuk to discuss special operations and actions of the SBU. During the meeting, which took place on September 6, Zelensky confirmed significant successes of the SBU in destroying Russian systems of air defense since the beginning of the year.

Zelensky noted that the results of these operations may have important implications for Ukraine. "Gratitude for the accuracy. We will not disclose the details, but the enemy is already feeling the consequences of our actions," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Among the main topics discussed were military components, special operations, and further actions of the SBU. The president also reported that several new operations have been approved, which, according to him, will enhance Ukraine's ability to strike targets in Russia.

One of the most significant operations was the attack on the strategic bombers of Russia, which took place on June 1. According to Maliuk, during the operation, over 40 aircraft of the Russian strategic aviation were destroyed by the SBU. This attack impacted approximately 34% of the carrier fleet of Russian missiles, which are based on major airfields.

It was also reported that Ukrainian security forces eliminated a fuel depot at the Sochi airport, which led to a large fire at the facility.
