Darwin Núñez is expected to be in the Liverpool squad for the Community Shield on Sunday, regardless of the rumors about his potential transfer. Representatives of Uruguay are holding talks with Al-Hilal, but so far there have been no official discussions between the clubs.

As for the 26-year-old forward, he is considering a possible move to the Middle East, likely resulting in some approach from Al-Hilal.

A similar situation is observed with midfielder Harvey Elliott, who is wanted by RB Leipzig. The 22-year-old footballer was the best player of the tournament when England won the U19 European Championship this summer. He played 28 matches last season, but only three of them were in the starting lineup in the Premier League or Champions League.

His chances of playing are likely to decrease further in the new season, and after the match against Athletic, in which Liverpool won 4-1, he last left the pitch, passing the ball to substitutes.
