Signing of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to Everton

The club Everton announced the signing of midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Chelsea on a five-year contract.
The transfer became possible after the clubs agreed on an initial fee of 25 million pounds sterling. Dewsbury-Hall joined Chelsea in July 2024 for 30 million pounds sterling, but his appearances at the club were limited.
During the past season, he played only two matches in the Premier League, but he participated in Chelsea's run in the Club World Cup, where he scored his last goal in a match against Flamengo.
Dewsbury-Hall expressed satisfaction with the transfer to Everton, noting that the club has enormous potential for the future, as well as a vibrant stadium and supportive fans.
The head coach of Everton, David Moyes, emphasized that Dewsbury-Hall has the quality and experience that can help the team. This is already the sixth signing made by the club during this transfer window for Everton, which also signed Thierno Barry, Carlos Alcaraz, and others.
Everton finished the past season in 13th place, and the new season will begin with a match against Leeds away on August 18.
