Nottingham Forest has signed an agreement with goalkeeper Scotland's Angus Gunn for one year.

Gunn joined the club after leaving Norwich City, where he played last season, appearing in 35 matches in the Championship.

The 29-year-old goalkeeper began his career in Norwich, and then signed his first professional contract with Manchester City in 2013. He also played for Southampton, before returning to Norwich, where he made a total of 172 appearances.

Gunn expressed his satisfaction with the move to Nottingham, calling the club historic and captivating. He noted that he looks forward to contributing his efforts to the team and is eagerly awaiting the start of work.

He has 16 caps for the Scotland national team and played in all three matches of the group stage at Euro 2024 last year.

Gunn will compete for a spot with Matty Cash, who last season kept 13 "clean sheets" in the league, outshining David Raya from Arsenal.
