Detectives from Hempstead are investigating the death of 33-year-old Marine Nolan-O'Slater, who was found dead on a yacht that docked at Club Yacht in Montauk. The woman's body was discovered around noon on Tuesday, September 5, 2025, after a call to 911 about a "non-responsive woman."

Police reported that good Samaritans attempted to perform a heart-lung resuscitation on her, but the first responders declared her dead. Those who identified her as deceased remain unknown.

Marine Nolan-O'Slater, originally from Ireland, moved to the USA at the age of 26. She was a partner and founder of the fashion brand East x East, which specializes in swimsuits and resort wear. At the time of her death, she was living in Manhattan.

Police around Suffolk and the Office of the Medical Examiner will conduct investigations and autopsies to determine the cause of death. The Department of Foreign Affairs of Ireland confirmed that it is providing consular assistance in connection with this incident.
