FOXSBORO, Massachusetts. Jayson Tatum, star of the Boston Celtics, was spotted training in the middle of the week, but not on the basketball court.

Tatum conducted joint training with the New England Patriots from Washington Commanders. The player, who underwent surgery in June for the removal of an Achilles tendon, was spotted walking without a boot or bandage.

This is a positive signal for Tatum, as he continues rehabilitation, which is expected to last a significant portion of the upcoming NBA season. During his visit, Tatum was primarily on the edge of the field, mingling with Patriots players and quarterback Washington's Jayden Daniels.

Tatum also appeared in several videos on social media, where he is engaged in the training room at the Celtics' training center.

President of basketball operations for the Boston Celtics, Brad Stevens, noted that the star is progressing after the operation. However, when asked about possible timelines for Tatum's return, Stevens clearly stated that there will be no rush with the returning player.
