In June 2025, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine approved 50 new types of armored vehicles, all of which are produced in Ukraine. This was announced by the Main Directorate for the provision of life cycle support for weapons and military equipment.

According to the information, in the first six months of 2025, the Ministry approved nearly 160 new armored vehicles, which is almost double the amount approved for the entire 2024 year, when about 170 new types were approved.

Among the new armored vehicles, there are mainly engineering and recovery vehicles, as well as the latest models of high-explosive, wheeled, and armored vehicles for unmanned operations.

In addition, in June, approximately 140 new models of weapons and military equipment were put into operation. More than 85% of them are products of foreign manufacturers.

Among the new products are armored vehicles (mainly for the Armed Forces), unmanned systems, ground robotic systems, electronic warfare technology, and reconnaissance. The list also includes optical systems, links, automobiles, and armored technology.

At the beginning of the month, it became known that the Ukrainian quadcopter R-34-T received permission for operation in the Armed Forces. This drone has a laser for precise targeting of high-precision strikes.
