In the past day, Russia suffered significant losses

On August 7, 2025, according to the data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia lost 1,040 servicemen, including killed and wounded, as well as four tanks and 47 artillery systems.
In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russian military losses are estimated at over 1,060,310 people, of which the last reported losses amount to 1,040 people. Equipment losses include 11,076 tanks, 23,095 armored vehicles, 31,180 artillery systems, and also 49,930 vehicles.
As of September 6, 113 combat encounters were recorded on the front. Russian forces conducted 57 airstrikes and used 1,564 drone-kamikazes. In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces attempted to break through the Ukrainian defenses 30 times, resulting in the elimination of 165 personnel and equipment.
In the Lyman and Siversk directions, Russian forces also continued their attacks, however, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled the majority of the assaults.
Overall, Russian losses in Ukraine have continued to increase in recent days, particularly with 1,010 killed and wounded reported in the last 5-6 days alone.
