Las Vegas Aces defeated Golden State Valkyries with a score of 78-72 in a match that took place on September 6, 2025. A'ya Wilson became the standout player of the game, scoring 27 points. Jackie Young and Jewel Loyd also significantly supported the team, each scoring 14 points.

The Aces finished the third quarter with a lead of 64-54, but in the fourth quarter, they could not increase their lead to more than 6:05 minutes. The Valkyries scored a comeback to within three points (66-63), however, the Aces responded with a 5-0 run, which included a three-pointer from Loyd, and restored the lead to 74-65 with 2:47 minutes left in the match. Wilson sealed the victory with two free throws with 34.9 seconds left in the game.

Wilson also achieved a significant milestone, becoming the tenth player in WNBA history to reach 500 blocks, finishing the game with 8 out of 11 shooting from the field and 11 out of 11 from the free-throw line.

In the Valkyries lineup, Tiffani Hayes scored 14 points, while Janella Salun added 13. Karla Leite and Kayla Charles also contributed, each scoring 11 points.

After this victory, Las Vegas Aces occupy fourth place in the Western Conference, ahead of Golden State Valkyries, who just debuted in the WNBA this season.
