Volgograd Region Experienced Drone Strikes on Railway Stations

During the night from August 6 to 7, 2025, an attack by drones occurred on railway stations in Russia, including in the Volgograd region. This was announced by the governor of the Volgograd region, Andrey Bocharov.
According to him, the drones targeted two railway facilities. As a result of the attack, a fire broke out in an administrative building at the Surovikino station. Firefighters are actively working on extinguishing the fire.
At the station named after Maxim Gorky, drone operators are engaged in operations. The governor asserts that the railway operations in the region are functioning in normal mode, and there are no casualties as a result of the attack.
Reports about the attack surfaced around 1:30 AM local time. Initially, the sounds of drones were heard, followed by a series of explosions. Social media filled with footage from the scene of the fire at the Surovikino station.
