Congressman from Florida Cory Mills, a representative of the Republican Party, has responded to allegations made by his former girlfriend, who claims that he threatened to distribute intimate video and images after their relationship ended. Together with police officer Linda Lantston, she filed a complaint with law enforcement on July 14, describing Mills' threats, which began after their separation in late 2025.

In his statement, Mills denied these allegations, asserting that they are unfounded and distort the essence of his relationship with Lantston. He also accused his former political opponent, Entoni Sabatini, of attempting to use the legal system for a political attack against him.

According to information provided by Lantston, their relationship lasted from the fall of 2021 until the summer of 2025. She claims that Mills, despite being separated, filled her in on the fact that the divorce was already finalized. Following news of other allegations against Mills, Lantston shifted to his house, after which, according to her, he began to threaten her, including threats regarding her future partners.

The case has been referred to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, and currently, no allegations have been filed. Mills stated that he intends to cooperate fully with the investigation, focusing on the service of his constituents.
