United Airlines Resolves Technical Issues That Caused Delays

The technical problem that occurred in the United Airlines system led to delays of over 1,000 flights in the USA. This system, known as Unimatic, is responsible for processing flight information, which is used for calculating weight, balance, and tracking flight times.

According to information provided by the company, the problem arose in the middle of the evening, but delays continued into Thursday. Approximately 35% of the airline's flights experienced delays, and another 6% were canceled.

All United flights designated for Chicago were stopped at departure airports, and delays also affected flights to Denver, New York, Houston, and San Francisco. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed that it was aware of the situation with delays at United and is assisting in restoring normal operations.

United Airlines has taken responsibility for the inconvenience caused by the delays and stated that in cases of necessity, it will cover expenses for hotels and other services for affected passengers. The company emphasized that customer safety is their top priority, and they are working to restore normal travel conditions.
