Kelly Clarkson announced the relocation of her show to Las Vegas to be "fully present" for her children during the illness of her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock.
The representative reported this through her verified Instagram account, noting that it is important for her to be with her kids. She added that she usually keeps her personal life private, but this year her ex-husband is ill, and she needs to be with the children.
Clarkson has two children with Blackstock: daughter River, who is 10 years old, and son Remington, who is 8 years old. The show was supposed to take place on September 8-9 and 15-16, but they were canceled.
The residency "Kelly Clarkson: Chemistry" is still scheduled for this fall, on November 7-8 and 14-15. Representatives for Clarkson and Blackstock have not commented on the situation.
Clarkson was set to start this residency in July, but she initially postponed it due to voice issues, and then stated that she needed time for family.
