Apple released the first public beta version of iOS 26 on July 24, 2025. The update includes several improvements, particularly in the interface, camera, and phone functions.
One of the new features is the ability to set the snooze duration for alarms. Users can now choose from 1 to 15 minutes for the additional snooze time. This change allows for customizing the alarm to fit individual needs.
Additionally, in iOS 26, a new "Snooze Calls" feature has been introduced, allowing users to identify the reason for a call from an unknown number before answering. This can help prevent spam and scam calls.
Moreover, the updated "Camera" app allows for quicker transitions between photo modes, while the "Photos" app has improved navigation for browsing libraries and collections.
Thanks to the new "Liquid Glass" design, interface elements become more spacious and appealing. These changes are already available for users who opted to try the beta version.
Apple continues to test iOS 26, so there may be further changes before the final release in the fall of 2025.
