Tariffs on goods from the European Union, particularly on wine and spirits, will increase by 15 percent. This could lead to higher prices for imported alcoholic beverages, which is already causing concern in the industry. The automotive industry is also feeling the impact of the new tariffs. Companies like Toyota and General Motors expect billion-dollar losses due to increased spending on imported components. Specifically, Toyota predicts a decrease in profits by $9.5 billion this year.
