The Browser Company has launched a Pro subscription for its Dia browser, which actively utilizes artificial intelligence capabilities. The subscription costs $20 per month. This subscription provides unlimited access to AI tools, including chat and "training". This is the company's first step towards monetizing its products, as noted by TechCrunch.

With the Pro plan activated, users of the free version will be limited in their use of AI capabilities. While specific limits have not been detailed, General Director Josh Miller indicated that the browser will remain free for those who only use AI a few times a week. In the future, the company plans to introduce various subscription tiers, which will cost from $5 to several hundred dollars per month.

Users had previously learned about the paid plan earlier when a relevant page appeared on the site, but it was quickly removed. Now the subscription feature is available in the Dia settings.

It is noted that The Browser Company launched a beta test of Dia in June of this year. Currently, the browser works only on Macs with M-series chips and macOS 14+.
