Attacks by Russian drones on Kyiv and Sumy resulted in casualties
- Three people were injured as a result of a drone attack on Kyiv.
- In the Sumy region, one person received injuries, causing damage to buildings.
- Drone attacks also resulted in fires and damage in both regions.
This is reported by RBC Ukraine, Ukrayinska Pravda.
During the night of August 7 to 8, Russian forces attacked the Kyiv region, including the Bucha district, using drones. According to information from the head of the Kyiv regional military administration Mykola Kalashnyk, as a result of the attack, three women aged 16, 56, and 80 were injured. They received non-life-threatening injuries.
The attack also resulted in a fire in the private sector and damage to residential buildings. Emergency services are working at the site of the incident.
Additionally, during the night of August 8, Russian drones attacked the Sumy region, where a 54-year-old man was injured. According to Oleg Grygorov, head of the Sumy regional military administration, as a result of the attack, several residential buildings, a store, and a vehicle were damaged.
As a result of the strikes, three drones in the Shostka region also caused damage to several multi-storey buildings, vehicles, and objects of social infrastructure.
Earlier, on August 6, Russian forces attacked an energy facility in the Dnipropetrovsk region, which resulted in the deaths of three people, including a 23-year-old serviceman.
