In Ukraine, Russia has reported losses of over a thousand soldiers

On the last day, Russia lost 1,040 soldiers, both killed and wounded, as well as 430 units of military equipment. This information was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Details: Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, from February 24, 2022, to September 8, 2025, total combat losses of Russian troops amount to approximately 1,061,350 military personnel. Among other losses: 11,083 tanks, 23,102 armored combat vehicles, 31,232 artillery systems, and also 50,168 unmanned aerial vehicles of operational-tactical class.

During the last day along the entire front line, 119 combat engagements took place, during which Ukrainian defenders repelled attempts by Russian troops to advance into Ukrainian territory.

The General Staff also reported that Russian forces conducted one missile strike and 55 airstrikes, utilizing 1,724 drones.

In the directions of Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk, 10 combat engagements occurred. In the Pokrovsk district, Ukrainian defenders eliminated 174 Russian soldiers, of whom 122 were killed.

The situation in Pokrovsk remains complex, with local authorities reporting difficulties with the delivery of humanitarian and medical assistance.
