On August 7, 2025, at 23:55 Kyiv time, Russian troops carried out a drone attack on Kharkiv. The city’s mayor, Ihor Terekhov, reported explosions that were heard in various districts.
According to data published at 00:01 on August 8, the attack resulted in fires at a civilian enterprise in the Saltivskyi district. At this moment, information about casualties or the scale of destruction is not available.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces reported a mass drone attack, during which 108 drones were observed, of which 82 were destroyed by anti-aircraft units. The attack began at 20:30 on August 7 and involved 104 Shahed-type drones and other unmanned aerial vehicles.
On the night of August 8, Russian troops also attacked populated areas in the Kyiv region, resulting in fires and injuries to three civilians, including a 16-year-old girl.
