Earlier today, the Israeli political-security cabinet approved a plan that envisions control over Gaza. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed the intention to take control over the entire territory of Gaza, confirming that the plan focuses specifically on Gaza.

Miata Fanbulleh, the junior minister of energy, also expressed hope that Israel would reconsider its decision, noting that this risks further exacerbating the already dire situation.
