- Israel's plans for the full occupation of Gaza have sparked international reactions.
- In Gaza, the number of victims is increasing due to starvation and military actions.
- The British Prime Minister is condemning the escalation of the conflict, pointing to a humanitarian crisis.
In connection with Israel's plans for full military occupation of Gaza, which were approved by the government cabinet led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the situation in the region has sparked condemnation. According to information, the plan envisions that the entire population of Gaza will have to relocate to the south, after which the blockade of Gaza City will begin in connection with the anniversary of the Hamas attack on July 7.
Netanyahu stated that Israel will not allow Hamas or the Palestinian administration to participate in the civil administration of the territory, which will be controlled by the army. The British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer condemned these actions, asserting that they would lead to further bloodshed.
Domestic reactions in Gaza are also alarming. Local residents, such as Amal Hamada, express fears about the future, questioning when their nightmare will end. They have endured numerous displacements due to the war and feel themselves to be without shelter.
In addition, Dr. Mustafa Bargouti, a prominent Palestinian politician, noted that the decision regarding the full occupation of Gaza is a manifestation of ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people. He believes that this decision may be influenced by support from the U.S. administration.
Currently, according to data, 96 children among more than 200 people have died from starvation in Gaza, which has been exacerbated by Israel's blockade. According to representatives of the UN, the number of children with severe malnutrition has reached record levels.
At the same time, in response to the plans for military escalation, families of Israeli hostages expressed their outrage, accusing the government of abandoning their loved ones in favor of dealing with Hamas.
